Dr. Johnson is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina surgeon with over 15 years of experience in diagnosing and treating complex vitreoretinal conditions. After graduating from Haverford College with dual majors in Biology and Music, he earned his medical degree from the prestigious Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at Wills Eye Institute, ranked among the nation’s top ophthalmology programs, and advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at Emory Eye Center.
Beyond his exceptional training, Dr. Johnson is recognized for his patient-centered and compassionate approach to care. He believes that clear communication and trust are vital to healing, ensuring each patient feels supported throughout their journey. A classically trained pianist and member of the New York Choral Society, Dr. Johnson credits his musical discipline and attention to harmony as qualities that enrich his precision and artistry as a surgeon.
